Savory Miso Sprinkle on Vegan Ice Cream
While Mitoku's Organic Miso Powder is an ideal addition to savoury stews and sauces, its saltiness also works well as a flavor enhancing contrast to the sweetness of desserts.
- 4 bananas (sliced/frozen)
- 100ml coconut cream
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- some vanilla extract
- 4 tsp Mitoku Organic Miso Powder
- some nuts
- Leave the frozen banana at room temperature to soften a little.
- Combine the coconut milk, oil, and vanilla. Make sure the mixture has formed into a completely smooth liquid.
- Place the banana and salt in a blender and blend, then slowly add the coconut mixture until it gets smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a container and put in the freezer overnight.
- Serve the ice cream in a bowl and top with plenty of miso powder and nuts of your choice.
